I would often, OFTEN, see cars with two or more of these on. Also decals celebrating SB48 using coming in pairs or sets of three even. Just slathered on any car through the suburbs. Any make or model, TWELVE. I have seen multiple DDs with crudely painted Seahawks logo on the driver’s door in what appeared to be interior latex paint. Today, briefly listening to pundants speculate on the the future of Marshawn Lynch before changing over to classic rock, I noticed that all of these declarations of unbridled devotion had vanished.

Kind of odd really. 1 super bowl, 2 NFC titles, and then a down year where you get your doors blown off in the divisional round, but nonetheless did make the playoffs, and *poof* Done.

For Seattle, this is not odd at all. Like. At all. Look at how fast support for the “Dream Team” Mariners post-pennet win. Even the year after they were dropped so fast, because they weren’t living up to the previous year’s run.

Remember how much we allllll loved the Sounders? Because they were winning?

The Mariners have been terrible for 14 years though. Whereas the seahawks are just one year removed from the previous super bowl.

I mean Mariners have the least success in MLB history... they’re the only franchise not to reach the world series and they have the longest postseason drought now.

I think the flags were way more popular last year. I see a fair amount of plate frames and stickers than I do flags. Note I’m guilty of my Seahawks flag staying up year round ( not a 12 ) and a discreet Seahawk on my car. But let’s face facts about Lynch. Running Backs have a shelf life. That's not just a Seattle thing.
